When you first join you have 2 people, it doesn't matter what they are the first thing you should do is go to where they live and interduce yourself. You always put the name of your character in the Name spot of the forums with exception of the News board where you put your real name.
You may find yourself a bit lost at first so you should try to look around all the boards and maybe listen in on a couple conversations just to get yourself used to how to do things.
Remember that this is a role playing game so you aren't yourself dressed up as a noble or a theif, you are that noble or theif.
When you think you are ready to start playing a few more people you can either go buy an one of thean animal because all the animals you can own can all be played in the in the animal kingdom. If you don't want to play an just an animal you can go to the quests link and go on a quest to find a new person.
Owning Aniamls

Owning animals, particulirly horses, can not only be fun but profitable depending on the type.
You can play your animals by entering the animal kingdom. Humans cannot go in.
Your animals can find love, play, make friends but cannot have babies unless the owner breeds them.
It takes 2 days for a female to have a child once being bred and then she cannot be bred again for an additional 4 days.
A male's stud fee can not exceed 25 gold peices and the baby will always belong to the owner of the mother unless otherwise arranged with the owners.
Only TBs (race horses), age 3, can be entered in races.
Making Money
Top
You can make money by entering a horse race, stealing (only if you are a theif or a bandit), opening a store or getting a job.
You must keep track of your own money.
Theives, Gypsys and Bandits

Theives cannot steal from the animals board or if an animal posts a message.
You cannot challange a thief/bandit/gypsy to a battle unless you know their real name.
You can't kill a thief/bandit/gypsy if they stole from you unless its in a duel and you have not control over that because I post the results.
All duels take place on the news board.
A thief/bandit/gypsy cannot take an animal unless you tell them its name and color.
A thief/bandit/gypsy can steal from you anywhere except in the Animal Kingdom and the marketplace.
A thief/bandit/gypsy can not be stolen from (eg-two theives dress as nobles and one steals from the other, they have to return whatever they stole.)

Terms to Know

Challange- a fight in which the winner will get the city of the one who loses, winner is determined by me only. Challanges are held the 2nd and the 4th saturday of every month and each leader can only be challanged once. More challanging rules on the "Enter Our World" page.
Duel- same as a challange except its held on the news board and they fight is not over a city but over the love of a person, an object, an animal or just a disagreement. The winner is decided by me.
Quest- an adventure that you can find a person and an item. The occupation of the person is decided by me but the rest of the stats are yours to decide.
Player- that would be you, the real person that plays everyone.
Character- any of the people that we play in the RPG.
Minor Character- a character that can be killed, has no money, often slaves. For more info see the Minor Char page.
Marrage

Only people age 18 and older can get married. The ceromony will not be performed on the boards but by e-mail. You may have a party on the boards though if you wish. You must have at least 2 witnesses to be married. To be married you must e-mail me with the following:

Having Children (Same Species)

YOU MUST BE MARRIED TO HAVE CHILDREN! Unless you are an animal.
If you are married and your husband/wife is the same species as you then you can have children. It takes 5 days to have a child and then you cannot have anouther child for a month. Triplets and twins are allowed but no more than that.
When a child is born please add its name to the taken names page and e-mail me with its name/gender/species/projected future occupation.
Having Children (Different Species)

If your husband/wife is not the same species as you and you have children your child will be sterile and deformed so the scientists of DE have come up with a drug that the man can take that will temperarily turn him into the same species as his wife for 1 day. Unfortantly the drug does not work on females so it has to be the guy that takes it. Then you can follow the instructions for same species.
Death
Top
Yes, you can die in challanges and quests but it may not be perminent. A character, that is not played by you, can challange "The Black God" (Dathos) in The Hall of the Great Gods to their life back. If they win than the person comes back to life but if not then they cannot be challanged for again for 1 week. You cannot defeat Dathos but if you put up a worthy fight he will allow the person to live again.
